These vessels are styled on the traditional Luxemotor Dutch barges, and with a shallow V and radiused chine, conforming to the category C (inshore coastal waters) of the current RCD.
Each section of the hull has to be hand made, so the rounded curves of the bilge flow from stem to stern. Attention to detail is paramount both in the building and design.
Construction is 8/6/5/4 mild steel complete with one full internal bulkhead, waste, fuel and fresh water tanks, rudder, stern tube, engine bearers and cooling tanks all included. Bilge bitumined, hull sides treated up to water line with two pack epoxy pitch, and steel primed.
